More Than 30 Years of Progressive Grassroots Democratic Politics

CFD is an official Democratic Club on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Founded in 1969, CFD emerged out of both the anti-war movement and the 1960's reform movement within the Democratic Party.

For 40 years CFD members have produced results on progressive issues in our neighborhood, city, state, and nation. CFD is also proud of its elected officials who started their careers in CFD, including U.S. Representative Jerry Nadler, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, State Senator Eric Schneiderman, and State Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal.

Join our team of Democratic activists and work with your neighbors to make a positive difference. We are deeply concerned with the issues of today. Please drop by our next meeting.
